Alternative energy systems: bio-diesel and ethanol?
I have to start preparing my dissertation and need to find as many info as possible on Ethanol and Bio-diesel production: equipment, tools, components, chemical (organic and non ) substances used to implement the production.
Can anyone help to find this info and at the same time highlight that biofuels are not the answer to energy crisis?

Biofuels might be part of an answer if we were harvesting the substrate plant matter from the oceanic dead zones. We have many large areas of the oceans called dead zones because all animal life dies there.. killed by lack of oxygen as the oxygen is all consumed by decomposing plant material.
We can harvest these dead zones, press water out of the vegetation, and use the vegetation as a substrate for bio-diesel or burn it directly in place of coal.
In your discussion of ethanol, consider cellulosic ethanol production. Canadian wood byproducts are now being diverted to that.
