Would you boycott Car companies for putting out more combustion engines?

It makes no sense for them to keep produceing combustion engines when the whole world agrees they cause a global problem. It makes no sense to keep burning up our atmospere when we can use all alternative forms of energy that don’t harm the environment. In stead they make more combustion engienes or expect us to buy hybrids that don’t really get good gas millage and unrealistic hydrogen viehicals when there are many ways of producing non-combustion eingines, but the people with the means don’t care to change there habits. I think we all should boycott car companies until they get the point what are you thoughts on this?

Not sure you mean that we should boycott companies who produce both combustion engines and other engines. If a company produces a car that runs on batteries that it charges up with solar cells all over the upper surface, or solar cells on my house roof, but also produces cars with combustion engines, we should boycott their solar powered car? This would be to teach them not to develop solar powered cars?

Perhaps we could just buy the solar powered cars and forget what else the company makes. It might give the message we want a bit more clearly.
