We are a group of MBA graduate students from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. We are working on a research project on South African Culture and alternative power solutions. We would very much appreciate any feedback on current events and important cultural issues or anything else you may think is related.

Ja, it has caused havoc for the tourism business.

3.Do you believe that Eskom is doing all that it can to find solutions to the energy crisis?

No, just words and rhetoric, without the money from the government there is little they can do. I also think it has been exaggerated by some as there have also been problems in Canada and China.

4.Have you or anyone you know installed or considered installing a solar hot water system? If not, what are the main reasons why you haven’t considered such a system?

Ha, we always had one anyway back in the old days. The sun heated the water up for the outside shower.
