Anyone know a good cheap drink that works for recovery or during workout?

I use a product called Accelerade, which I think works very well and have been using it for years. I am an avid runner and cardio freak. It tastes like gatorade (a little better I think), but what I like about it, it has the right ratio of carb to protein in it, so it helps your muscles to recover quickly.
