Can someone help me with my dog?
Shes draging her butt across the floor, but I dont think she sick I just walked her and as usual she was full of energy and pulling me around, but I have no money to take her to the vet so I was wondering if someone could tell me whats wrong and if I can treat it at home or with cheap pills or something.
Your dog obviously has an anal gland problem. If you live in the UK your dog can be treated free of charge by the PDSA or Dogs Trust. Or if you simply ask a vet to empty her anal glands it costs very little, phone before you go and ask for a price.
Impacted anal glands could cause abscesses and other very urgent and complicated problems.
My dog had anal gland problems with complications because I could not get her diet right. Now the experts say that we should avoid grain, beef,its derivatives and dairy food. You will find something fairly cheap on the Internet and they will stop her anal glands from becoming impacted in future and prevent expensive vets bills.
