CLEAN ENERGY DEPLOYMENT
Must the government and the coal mining and power industries invest in clean coal power production?

I mean to say coal power production with zero carbon emmisions through sequestration. I believe this is the only ethical and moral way that coal power production can continue to be used and expanded, otherwise it would only lead to greater climate change with greatly increased economic expense and enviromental damage resulting from it making coal power production one of the MOST expensive energy production options unless, like I said, the coal and power industries invest in research and devolpment into converting all the existing and future coal power production to zero emissions, doing so in a way that is as cheap for them as possible of course. Of course the more groups who chip in on the research, devolpment, and deployment of this technology the cheaper it will be for any one of them. I would be happy to see my tax dollars go towards this instead of subsedisizing the oil industry spending the money on this instead of that is called a “green tax shift”

I see this a a good way for the world to be moving. I also think that it is possible. There is going to be a plant built in Colo in the next few years that will be using some tax money. This will be a big step for the power industry. but it is one in the right direction. The preposed plant may cost as much as $2billion but costs will come down on the next plants.

Balancing climate change mitigation and increased energy needs in developing countries poses a serious dilemma that can only be reconciled with new and improved clean energy technologies. Factors, such as relatively low levels of research, development and deployment (RD&D) funding and significant barriers to advancement, must be overcome to accelerate innovation in the energy sector. The paper exa…
