Why can’t people envision a world without petroleum and all its problems?
Big Oil will be phased out by the people taking strong initiative.
First, we must think of gas station as dirty whore houses. Build shame for going to them
Second, develop clean energy, Obama’s plan.
Third, enjoy the fruits of our efforts.
The only problem is the republicans want oil, gas, and coal to be a part of reality. They believe this fairy tale so much that they will stand up for the oil spill and justify it on the grounds that oil is reality. But they will lose more seats and we will have a one-party country.
This is why clean energy is needed more than ever. We have to rise up, ration, cut back, do whatever it takes to take back or planet.
It’s not that hard really. As you typed that you are using plastic parts made with said petroleum in your computer. Can you envision a world without them now? Without cars, air conditioning, TV’s, machinery that produces your food, makes your clothing, and lights your house? Without indoor plumbing and plastic pipes than run clean water to your house? Even if we have clean energy, we will still need oil. We can’t make parts out of ethanol. Though I think we DO need to do more for fuel for cars and what not. But without it completely, can you envision that world?
I didn’t think so.
