How badly did I mess up on my diet today?
I’m a 6′2 and 208 lbs male and have been on a diet/workout routine for about a month, and was 225 lbs July 1st.
Today I ate an order of General Tso’s with white race, 2 thighs from Popeyes, 2 biscuits from Popeyes, an order of Cajun rice from Popeyes, and about 2 glasses of coke.
I feel like complete crap, especially because at the gym I only did 20 mins of cardio instead of the normal 30 because I simply didn’t have the energy. Also at the gym I worked on my chest and abs.
If for the next couple hours I run up and down my stairs, clean the house, do pushups, and stretch do you think I can minimize the damage?
Thank you
Ok….did you enjoy your splurge today?
If so, ok…accept it…and move on.
Sure…do some exercise, go for a run or something but dont punish yourself all day for it.
Eat something healthy for dinner, and remember tomorrow is a NEW Day.
It wont affect you – if you ate that way every single day for a week you would notice it.
One diet blow out is not the end of the world.
Get back on track and maybe exercise a little longer tomorrow if that makes you feel better.
It is what you do over time that adds up…not one large meal that got a bit out of control when everything else you do is all good!
