Where to find grants for a non-profit org to do green/energy saving projects?

I’m volunteering with a local not-for-profit group home here in Illinois and having a hard time figuring out where to find and apply for grants to fund energy/cost savings projects. I know Economic Stimulus money went to each state, and then each state apportioned it to its various agencies & departments, so I’ve been snooping around the EPA, Commerce websites looking for grant opportunities with not much luck so far. also, I’ve been working with a contact at ComEd to track down anything they can bring to the party (tho they do mostly residential or commercial programs), and wondering if there are other public, semi-public, or commercial organizations that offer grants for green projects?

Tom’s of Maine has one going for all 50 states.
