Could this be part of the ongoing green reforms in government, which, I feel, should be continued into the future indeffiently

I’d like to know why the government is giving tax breaks and subsidies to energy companies, anyway. I think all of them should be ended. THEN establish new programs to assist with CLEAN ENERGY GENERATION.
