Global warming – Hydro Electric Power?
One of the green energy technologies that we hear about from the global warming crowd is hydro electric power. To generate this green power, we need to build dams over rivers and build power generation houses.
However, many environmentalist point out that building dams also hurts the environment, displaces people, ruins the natural environment etc. Many environmental groups have sued to stop the building of dams.
So if you had your choice between a coal burning plant or a hydro electric plant, which do you prefer and why? Are you willing to tell the environmentalist that they cannot have it both ways (CO2 via coal or no CO2 with water)?
Astute observation. The Greens are against the use of fossil fuels but are also against the use of any alternative like hydroelectric or nuclear power.
Green is spelled HYPOCRITE
I much prefer Hydro to coal. I’ll tell them but they won’t listen. They know the “truth”, so why should they listen to facts?
