LOW COST ENERGY SOLUTIONS
One idea to focus the world on its energy problem, decrease C02, and lower welfare, what do you thing of it?

A Global reality T.V. series which focused the worlds attention on alternative energy and global warming by having world governments and corporations donate money for a substantial cash prize for the best solution to alternative energy, to include the most cost effective way to implement that idea into existing industry, so as not to upset the balance of wealth in the petrolium industry with the least amount of down time for transition. And a global recognition award for their achievement. The money and the prestige would be a huge carrot. And also to offer governmental tax breaks to citizens for donations to plant trees which produce oxygen and burn C02, this would be cost effective to the government. And that the trees would be fruit trees, and the produce given to families on welfare, thereby reducing the amount in dollars that would need to be paid to each family. We could increase agricultural exports of fruit, providing a higher national economy as well. Agree?

1. The earth used to be a mass of lava. The earth had to cool down hundreds of degrees to make it live-able.

2. It was the green house gases and acid rains that cooled the earth and made conditions right for life to begin.

3. Survival of the fittest makes life today more able to adapt then life back when conditions were worse.

4. The force that balanced nature still exist. Why isn’t that force figured in this equation as balancing nature as a random act is an amazing probability statistic given that the original species had to mutate to live off its own waste and eat itself?

5. “This would be cost effective to the government.” is a statement that assumes the government who gets its power from transferring money out of one persons pocket and putting it into another would want to be cost effective. To be cost effective, one would have to have those paying for the service agreeing with those receiving the service and leaving those who neither pay or use the service (government) out of the equation.

6. “The produce given to families on welfare.” How degrading to assume people on welfare are in-able to work. Who is going to pick the fruit? Illegals?…. because there is no one in America who does such degrading work??? As someone providing the food to those on Welfare, I would want the fruit tree industry to provide the education and jobs to those on Welfare first to remove this tax burden all together while providing the opportunity gainful employment, skill, and self-respect to those that might not otherwise have such an opportunity. What welfare labor could not handle should be given to those waiting to come into the US legally….further reducing the tax burden which will create more jobs.

7. “so as not to upset the balance of wealth in the petrolium industry with the least amount of down time for transition” Do you think you have the OPEC vote on this proposal? If not, prepare for a very powerful backlash. It would be naive to think people who have money and power would willingly give that up for the good of the world.

8. “And that the trees would be fruit trees” This is a commendable and ambitious idea. It is to be commended. It would change the ecosystem that currently exist. So you will have either the oil companies or those who hate the US and those who just like to say no will form a lobby against it. Expect opposition.

The problem with the proposal it that it assumes that peace and harmony is the goal instead of “how can I ride this change so it puts me on top?” (Survival of the fittest / King of the mountain).

If you don’t like this idea, at least test it. Give the power to another politician or the money to another business. When a person has no benefit, they will display their true colors.

Hope this helps
